SUMMARY:unPAved
DESCRIPTION:There’s over 25\,000 miles of “Incredible PA Gravel” so why wouldn’t you make Pennsylvania a destination for all of your gravel dreams to come true? \nBefore registering read all the rules\, schedule\, route descriptions\, and details about each category on the unPAved website. \nIf you want to get a feel for what unPAved of the Susquehanna River Valley is like\, watch the 2025 Highlight Reel\, our 2024 Recap\, and more great videos on our YouTube Channel. \nBASIC CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS: \n\nRace for Whoopie Pies: 130 mile ride (12\,000’ elevation & 78% unPAved) and the racing will be timed over 4 segments that add up to 56 miles. Top-3 Podium splits a $3\,000 Cash Purse (and all finishers get whoopie pies)!\nRide at Pierogi Pace: Ride the full course or a shorter route without the need for speed—at a lower price.\nRide from Rusty Rail: These 2 routes are less epic yet still everything that makes unPAved great and they start & finish in Mifflinburg.\nSlumberPArty: Start on Saturday\, finish on Sunday\, and join friends for a sleepover in between in R.B. Winter State Park.\nBig Lick 200: For the ultra-cyclists who have proven they have what it takes to ride many miles\, lots of hills\, through the night\, and be self-sufficient the whole time.\n\nNOTE: All our routes build off each other\, enabling you to add-on or cut-off sections depending on how you are feeling that day and everyone gets a finisher prize at the DONEpaved Party!\nFor example\, there are decision points on the Full-130 mile course at mile 21\, 60\, 72\, and 88. \nREGISTRATION SCHEDULE: \n\nSeptember 22: Deadline to apply for the Big Lick 200.\nSeptember 30: Registration closes for the SlumberPArty\nOctober 8: Registration closes for the Full-130 Race for Whoopie Pies and “Choose Your Own Adventure Ride” Pierogi Pace categories\nOctober 9: Pre-Registration closes for the Rides from Rusty Rail\nOctober 10: In-Person registration for the Rides from Rusty Rail\, Saturday’s FUNpaved Rides\, and the unPAved Film Festival can be done at the Lewisburg Fall Festival (9am-4pm)\n\nREGISTRATION DETAILS: \n\nWe have a strict No Refunds policy.\nDeferral requests for 2027 can be made by August 30\, 2026 (45 days before unPAved-SRV)\nTransfers and Category Changes must be made by October 1\, 2025 (10 days before unPAved-SRV)\nCancellations after October 2\, 2026 and no-shows do not qualify for a credit.\nWe highly suggest you purchase the insurance with your registration provided by BikeReg.\n\nWAYS TO STAY INFORMED:  \n\nGo to unpavedpennsylvania.com for rules\, route information\, updates\, etc. before registering and at least 10 days before the event for any changes.\nFollow us on Instagram\, Facebook\, and join the unPAvers Facebook Group.\nRead the e-Newsletters throughout the year\nRead all the emails about the event\nRead the Race Bible once it is emailed to you\nDownload the final course links when they are sent to you the week of the event\nCheck out the Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau for links to places to stay and fun things to do in the area.\n\nSupporting the Youths: $1 of every entry goes to the Pennsylvania NICA (aka PICL) League!
