So what’s the difference between a Hardtail, Full Suspension and FAT-Tyre mountain bike?

Hardtail mountain bikes are great because of their mechanical simplicity and lower entry cost. Most are paired with an air-sprung suspension fork, while some run rigid forks with high volume/low pressure tyres. Frame materials include Aluminium, Steel, Titanium & Carbon Fiber. Our starting pricepoint is $1,200.

Full Suspension mountain bikes add cushion to the tail end of of your bike for a smoother ride. Besides easing the impact on your body over bumpy terrain, they also offer better traction while climbing. Frame materials include Alumiuium & Carbon Fiber. Our starting pricepoint is $2,700.

FAT-Tyre mountain bikes have become part of our normal MTB world, althought they still get a lot of looks an questions. The 4-5″ tyres run at extremely low pressures and tackle any loose or nasty terrain – Snow, sand, mud, etc. They are perfect for our “shoulder seasons” where trail conditions can be a bit slippy. Frame materials include Aluminium, Steel, Titanium & Carbon Fiber. Our starting pricepoint is $2,000.
