Ye Olde Freeze + Thaw Cycle Shoppe of State College, Penna. is decorated with an interesting assortment of vintage bicycle, parts & tools. We appreciate everything from Ye Olde Schwinns & Raleighs to locally-crafted Grove Innovations bikes, tandems and adaptive creations. Donations and On-Loan displays are welcome!

Referencing the past gives us a greater appreciation for the technologies we enjoy today. It’s hard to imagine riding today’s trails on rigid 26″ cantilever brake equipped bikes, and our museum includes some of the earliest mountain bikes created.
There is also just something special about vintage Campagnolo components and lugged Steel, which we display in abundance.

THE CASE
Among the many finds you’ll discover in our front room is a display case full of bike related trinkets and memorabilia. Sort of an FTC Hall of Fame…if you end up in here you did something special!

This area is full of bicyle antiques, rarities, upcycled parts and gear, and so much more. We welcome you to spend an afternoon exploring this space.
